Waaree Solar Americas Secures 288 MW Solar Module Supply Order from US Renewable Developer

Waaree Energies Ltd, India’s leading solar module manufacturer, has announced a major international achievement with its wholly owned subsidiary, Waaree Solar Americas, securing a 288 MW solar module supply order from a prominent US-based renewable power developer and operator. The contract, confirmed on December 5, 2025, marks a strategic win for Waaree as it continues strengthening its presence in large-scale global solar markets.

The agreement involves a one-time supply of high-efficiency solar modules, scheduled for delivery during FY 2026–27, aligning with upcoming US utility-scale project rollouts. While the financial value of the deal remains undisclosed, Waaree clarified that the transaction does not involve related parties, and no promoter group entity holds an interest in the ordering company—reinforcing the transparency of the contract.

Despite the positive development, Waaree Energies’ shares dipped 4.05%, trading at ₹12,862 in intraday markets. However, the company’s strong fundamentals remain intact. Recently, Waaree reported an impressive 132.97% year-on-year surge in consolidated net profit, rising to ₹842.55 crore in Q2 FY26 from ₹361.65 crore in the same period last year—a clear indicator of the company’s accelerating international demand and operational strength.

The 288 MW order highlights Waaree’s expanding footprint in the North American solar market, driven by increasing demand for reliable, Tier-1 solar modules amid the US renewable energy expansion. With this win, Waaree continues positioning itself as a preferred technology partner for global developers aiming to meet ambitious clean-energy targets.

This milestone further supports Waaree’s long-term growth strategy while reinforcing India's role as a competitive solar manufacturing hub in the global value chain.
