The project’s first 60 MW began commercial operations on July 29, 2024, followed by 30 MW on December 11, 2024. According to a regulatory filing, the final 60 MW capacity received operational clearance from the Gujarat Energy Development Agency (GEDA) and was declared commercially operational from April 16, 2025. With this, the entire 150 MW solar project is now generating clean energy. The project contributes to NTPC’s goal of expanding its renewable energy portfolio and supporting India’s transition towards sustainable and low-carbon energy sources, aligning with national clean energy targets.
