Wind energy solutions provider Inox Wind Ltd (IWL) has secured a 102.3 MW wind turbine supply order from ABREL EPC Ltd, a subsidiary of Aditya Birla Renewables Ltd (ABReL). This order marks Inox Wind’s first collaboration with the Aditya Birla Group’s renewable energy arm, representing a key milestone in expanding its customer portfolio.
Under the contract, Inox Wind will supply its advanced 3.3 MW wind turbine generators for wind power projects being developed by ABREL EPC Ltd in the state of Karnataka. The order aligns with ABReL’s strategy to scale up its clean energy capacity and deliver long-term, sustainable energy solutions to its commercial and industrial customers. It also reflects the growing momentum in India’s wind energy sector, driven by decarbonisation targets and the transition towards renewable power.
Commenting on the development, Sanjeev Agarwal, Chief Executive Officer of Inox Wind Ltd, said that the partnership supports India’s broader energy transition and decarbonisation goals, while also demonstrating increasing confidence in Inox Wind’s product performance, execution capabilities, and end-to-end service offerings.
