Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi announced that the state’s growing clean energy manufacturing ecosystem is expected to generate over 2,000 direct and indirect jobs. The announcement coincided with the inauguration of INOXGFL Group’s new solar and wind facilities near Ahmedabad.
Key developments include:
Inox Solar: First phase of a 3 GW solar module manufacturing plant at Bavia, producing next-generation N-type TOPCon bifacial modules with higher efficiency and improved energy output.
Inox Wind: 1.2 GW nacelle and hub manufacturing unit at Kalyangarh, producing components for 3 MW turbines and the upcoming 4X MW class, strengthening INOX Wind’s presence in western and southern India.
Deputy CM Sanghavi noted that these projects reinforce Gujarat’s leadership in clean energy manufacturing and contribute significantly to India’s long-term energy security.
INOXGFL Executive Director Devansh Jain highlighted that Gujarat’s policy-driven ecosystem has positioned the state as the largest hub for solar component manufacturing in India. He added that Inox Clean’s consolidated revenues are projected to reach ₹30,000 crore by FY28, reflecting strong growth in renewable energy manufacturing.
The initiatives exemplify India’s focus on domestic renewable manufacturing, energy security, and job creation, aligning with national clean energy targets and sustainable development goals.
