ACME Solar Holdings has successfully commissioned the 28 MW first phase of its 100 MW wind power project in Surendranagar, Gujarat, under ACME Eco Clean. With this milestone, ACME’s total operational capacity has increased from 2,890 MW to 2,918 MW, reinforcing its position as one of India’s leading renewable energy players.
Financed by the Power Finance Corporation (PFC) and executed through in-house EPC, the project features a 33/220 kV station, with power transmitted via a dedicated 220 kV line to the Shapar sub-station, shared with ACME’s existing 50 MW wind project.
Electricity generated will be supplied under a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL), supporting India’s renewable energy goals and the nation’s transition to sustainable, low-carbon power generation. This project underscores ACME’s commitment to scalable, reliable, and clean energy solutions.
