AB Energia has unveiled Arkannect, a new distributed rooftop solar platform designed to accelerate solar adoption among residential consumers and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) across India.
The platform brings together AB Energia’s in-house engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) capabilities to deliver a seamless, end-to-end solar solution. Arkannect offers services including system design, financing, installation, monitoring, and maintenance through a unified digital interface, simplifying the entire customer journey.
A key feature of the platform is its mobile application, which allows users to track installation progress and monitor system performance in real time. This is supported by a nationwide network of local channel partners combined with centralized engineering execution, ensuring both scalability and service reliability.
In a strategic leadership move, AB Energia has appointed Sagar Saxena as the Chief Executive Officer of Arkannect. He will spearhead the platform’s expansion, beginning with key states such as Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Kerala, and Uttar Pradesh.
The company has outlined ambitious growth plans, targeting revenue generation of ₹700–1,000 crore over the next three years through Arkannect. The launch comes at a time when India’s rooftop solar capacity stands at approximately 22 GW, with strong growth momentum expected in the residential and MSME segments.
Positioned as a digital-first solution, Arkannect aims to play a pivotal role in India’s clean energy transition by focusing on accessibility, transparency, and robust after-sales support, making rooftop solar adoption easier and more efficient for a wider consumer base.
